THE PROJECT SEEKS TO EMPOWER CITIZENS TO DEVELOP SOLUTIONS TO PROBLEMS THAT THEY IDENTIFY IN THEIR NEIGHBORHOODS AND TO FOSTER COLLABORATION AMONG GOVERNMENT AGENCIES, SERVICE PROVIDERS, PEOPLE WHO WANT TO HELP, AND THOSE WHO NEED HELP.

NEIGHBORHOOD ENHANCEMENT TEAM-EMPOWERS RESIDENTS TO CHANGE PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT AND TO CONFRONT THE DETERIORATION OF HOUSING WITHIN NEIGHBORHOODS THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY.
SUMMER YOUTH PROGRAM: PROVIDES LOCAL YOUTH, FROM 15 TO 21 YEARS OF AGE, AN OPPORTUNITY TO SPEND THEIR TIME OFF FROM SCHOOL IN A PRODUCTIVE MANNER BY GAINING JOB SKILLS WHILE EARNING A PAYCHECK.
