THE PROGRAM SUPPORT AND EDUCATIONAL OUTREACH PROGRAM SUPPLEMENTED HISTORY EDUCATON AT THE OLD STATE CAPITOL IN SPRINGFIELD, IL. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, ATTENDANCE AT OUR HISTORIC SITES WAS DRAMATICALLY REDUCED. PLANNING FOR THE ABRAHAM LINCOLN LAW OFFICE RESTORATION PROJECT CONTINUED THROUGH RESEARCH ON HISTORY AND ARCHITECTURE OF THE MID 19TH CENTURY PERIOD IN FURTHERANCE OF A RESTORATION PLAN THAT WILL INCLUDE A HISTORY PROGRAM FOR THE BUILDING THAT HOUSES THE LINCOLN HERNDON LAW OFFICES. OUR FOCUS WAS FUNDING PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR THE HISTORIC SITES STAFF AND HISTORICAL ARTWORK FOR MEMBERS AND PROGRAM SITE PROMOTION.
