THE COMMUNITY UNITED PANTRY (CUP) IS STAFFED BY CHURCH VOLUNTEERS AND OPERATED TO PROVIDED FREE FOOD FOR NEEDY INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES. CUP OPEARTES AS A FOOD PANTRY. CASH DONATIONS AND THE PROCEEDS FROM THE SALE OF DONATED CLOTHING AND HOUSEWARES IS USED TO PURCHASE FOOD FOR DISTRIBUTION TO THE NEEDY. DURING 2021 CUP PROVIDED BOXES OF FREE FOOD TO 524 HOUSEHOLDS WHICH INCLUDED 1,116 INDIVIDUALS. DISTRIBUTED FREE FOOD INCLUDES CANNED GOODS, BOXED PRODUCTS, AND FROZEN MEATS. IN ADDITION, CARTS OF OVERSTOCKED CANNED GOODS AND BOXED PRODUCTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR FREE TO THOSE WHO WANT TO SELECT SOME OF THESE ITEMS.
