RESIDENTIAL SERVICES - THE COMMUNITY RESIDENTIAL ALTERNATIVE IS A SIX BED HOME FOR THE ADULT WHO IS DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED. THE RESIDENTS ATTEND TRAINING AND WORK, LIVE, AND PLAY AS A FAMILY, INCLUDING SHARING IN HOUSEHOLD CHORES AND THE MAINTENANCE OF THEIR PERSONAL ATTIRE.
ADULT DEVELOPMENTAL TRAINING PROVIDES FUNCTIONAL SKILLS FOR DAILY LIVING THROUGH REPETITIVE LEARNING ACTIVITIES IN TRAINING ACTIVITIES INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO; MOTORIC DEVELOPMENT; DRESSING & GROOMING; TOILETING; EATING; LANGUAGE; READING AND WRITING; QUANTITATIVE SKILLS DEVELOPMENT; INDEPENDENT LIVING; PERSONAL/SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT; COMMUNITY AWARENESS; AND REDUCTION OF MALADAPTIVE BEHAVIORS.
THE VOCATIONAL SERVICES PROGRAM GIVES DEVELOPMENTALLY DISABLED ADULTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO OBTAIN EARNED INCOME AND INCREASE THEIR INDEPENDENT LIVING CAPABILITIES THROUGH PROGRAMMING INCLLUDING EVALUATION, WORK ADJUSTMENT TRAINING, JANITORIAL SKILLS TRAINING, AND REGULAR/SHELTERED EMPLOYMENT.
