THE PURPOSE OF THE NATIONAL GUARD ASSOCIATION OF ILLINOIS IS TO PROMOTE THE NATIONAL SECURITY OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, TO PROMOTE, FOSTER, AND IMPROVE THE WELL BEING OF ACTIVE AND RETIRED PERSONNEL OF THE NATIONAL GUARD OF THE STATE OF ILLINOIS. TO SUPPORT AND PROMOTE SUCH ACTIVITIES AND ORGANIZATIONS BENEFICIAL TO SUCH PERSONNEL, SUPPORTING THE GOALS AND PROGRAMS OF EANGU AND NGAU, AND TO ESTABLISH AND MAINTAIN HONOR, AND RESPECT TO THE NATIONAL GUARD.
