SCIENCE CLUBS AND FAIR - SCIENCE CLUBS HELP CHICAGO PUBLIC SCHOOLS(CPS) STUDENTS BY PROVIDING SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS (STEM) MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES ALONG WITH MENTORING TO HELP STUDENTS PREPARE TO PARTICIPATE IN SCIENCE FAIR AND FAMILIARIZE STUDENTS WITH VARIOUS CAREER FIELDS IN STEM. SCIENCE FAIRS GIVE CPS STUDENTS THE OPPORTUNITY TO DISPLAY THEIR INDEPENDENT RESEARCH IN THE VARIOUS STEM FAIRS.
SCHOLARSHIPS - THE ORGANIZATION, THROUGH AN APPLICATION AND INTERVIEW PROCESS, SELECTS QUALIFIED CPS SENIOR STUDENTS TO RECEIVE SCHOLARSHIP. THESE SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AWARDED IN MAY AT THE SCHOLARSHIP RECEPTION.
