CAREERPLACE IS A VOLUNTEER DRIVEN, NON-PROFIT AGENCY DEDICATED TO HELPING PEOPLE HELP THEMSELVES AS THEY DEVELOP SEARCH STRATEGIES, SKILLS, AND CONDUCT AN EFFECTIVE JOB SEARCH BROUGHT ON BY UNEMPLOYMENT, CAREER TRANSITION, RE-ENTRY TO THE WORKFORCE OR FRIST TIME EMPLOYMENT. WE PROVIDE A POSITIVE, SUPPORTIVE AND AFFIRMING ENVIRONMENT AND OFFER A WIDE RANGE OF PROGRAMS, SERVICES AND RESOURCES. THE AGENCY'S GOAL IS TO PREPARE JOB SEEKERS TO PURSUE REWARDING EMPLOYMENT IN TODAY'S HIGHLY COMPETITIVE AND EVER-CHANGING MARKETPLACE.

CAREERPLACE IS IN THE NOT-FOR-PROFIT BUSINESS OF PROVIDING JOB SEARCH SKILLS TO THE UNEMPLOYED. WE HAVE APPROXIMATELY 370 CLIENT MEMBERS, OFFER 17 WORKSHOPS IN ADDITION TO ONE-ON-ONE JOB AND CAREER COACHING, AND PROVIDE COMPUTERS AND OTHER TECHNOLOGY TO OUR MEMBERS TO USE WHILE IN OUR OFFICES.
