THE FESTIVAL FEATURES THE WORK OF PROMISING LATIN AMERICAN FILMMAKERS WITH A SPECIAL EMPHASIS ON FILMS THAT SHOWCASE THE ENORMOUS DIVERSITY OF LATIN AMERICA, AND THAT DEFY COMMONLY HELD STEREOTYPES ABOUT HISPANICS AND LATINOS.
