THE ACOFP EDUCATION AND RESEARCH FOUNDATION (THE FOUNDATION) WAS ESTABLISHED WITH THE MISSION TO PROVIDE QUALITY CONTINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION TO PROFESSIONALS IN THE OSTEOPATHIC FIELD AND TO ENCOURAGE SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH. THE FOUNDATION RECEIVES ITS REVENUES PRIMARILY THROUGH CONTRIBUTIONS. THE FOUNDATION IS AFFILIATED WITH THE AMERICAN COLLEGE OF OSTEOPATHIC FAMILY PHYSICIANS, WHICH PROVIDES BENEFITS TO MEMBERS SUCH AS CONINUING MEDICAL EDUCATION PROGRAMS AND EVENTS, THE "OSTEPATHIC FAMILY PHYSICIANS NEWS" JOURNAL, AND DISCOUNTS.
