IN 2021, THE NATIONAL FEDERATION OF MUNICIPAL ANALYSTS (NFMA) CONTINUED TO FULFILL ITS MISSION OF PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS FOR ITS MEMBERS AND MUNICIPAL MARKET PARTICIPANTS, AS WELL AS SERVING AS THE VOICE OF MUNICIPAL ANALYSTS THROUGH ITS EFFORTS IN DISCLOSURE. DURING 2021, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS INCLUDED 8 ONE-HOUR WEBINARS, A MEMBERSHIP CALL, PLUS INTRODUCTORY COURSE OFFERED OVER THREE ONE-HALF DAYS, AND 2 FOUR-HOUR SESSIONS ON GOVERNMENT ACCOUNTING). THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE EVENT RETURNED FOR 2021 IN A VIRTUAL FORMAT. THE NFMA IS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION WHO EMPLOYED ONE FULL-TIME STAFF DURING 2021.
