THE ST PAUL AND RAMSEY COUNTY DOMESTIC ABUSE INTERVENTION PROJECT PROVIDES CULTURALLY/LINGUISTICALLY APPROPRIATE LEGAL, CRISIS AND TRANSITIONAL ADVOCACY SERVICES, 24 HOUR CRISIS INTERVENTION/SUPPORT TO BATTERED WOMEN AND THEIR CHILDREN; COLLABORATES WITH THE SYSTEM AND FACILITATES COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS TO END DOMESTIC VIOLENCE.

SPIP PROVIDES OVER 5,800 BATTERED WOMEN (AND THEIR CHILDREN) AND VICTIMS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE WITH DIRECT SERVICES, AND OVER 9,000 VICTIMS RECEIVE SUPPORT ON OUR 24-HOUR CRISIS LINE. HUNDREDS MORE BATTERED WOMEN, MEMBERS OF THE COMMMUNITY, AND WOMEN AND CHILDREN WITH INCREASED BARRIERS TO ASSESSING HELP RECIEVE EDUCATION, PREVENTION, INTERVENTION AND ADVOCACY THROUGH OUR PROGRAMS. OUR STAFF, VOLUNTEERS AND BOARD REFLECT THE DIVERSE CULTURAL, LINGUISTTIC AND AGE, ETC. OF THE PEOPLE WE SERVE.
THE PARTNERSHIP FOR DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICES PDAS/SPIP (BRIDGES TO SAFETY) IS A CENTRALLY LOCATED DOMESTIC ABUSE SERVICE CENTER IN THE CITY OF ST. PAUL - LINKING VICTIMS TO A MYRIAD OF SERVICES IN ONE SAFE/ACCESSIBLE LOCATION.
