MBOTMA IS A VOLUNTEER ORGANIZATION DEDICATED TO THE ENJOYMENT AND PRESERVATION OF AMERICAN STRING BAND MUSIC. FOUR MULTI-DAY EVENTS WERE HELD THIS YEAR. EVENTS CONSIST OF PERFORMANCES BY LOCAL AND NATIONAL ACTS, WORKSHOPS, EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR ASPIRING PLAYERS, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR AMATEUR PLAYERS TO PLAY TOGETHER.
MINNESOTA BLUEGRASS MAGAZINE IS A MONTHLY MAGAZINE PUBLISHED BY THE MINNESOTA BLUEGRASS & OLD TIME MUSIC ASSOC. IT OFFERS A COMPREHENSIVE CALENDAR OF LIVE MUSIC EVENTS AND FEATURES STORIES OF INTEREST RELATED TO THE ORGANIZATION'S MISSION. IT IS A RESOURCE OF MUSIC, PLAYING, LISTENING, AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR OUR MEMBERSHIP.
