FAULKTON AREA MEDICAL CENTER (FAMC) OPERATES A 12-BED CRITICAL ACCESS HOSPITAL AND RURAL HEALTH CLINIC IN FAULKTON, SOUTH DAKOTA. IN FISCAL YEAR 2023, FAMC HAD 156 ACUTE ADMISSIONS AND 39 SWINGBED ADMISSIONS, WITH 420 AND 323 PATIENT DAYS, RESPECTIVELY. THE FAMC RURAL HEALTH CLINIC HAD 6,001 CLINIC VISITS IN THE FISCAL YEAR. FAMC ADDED A MRI MACHINE IN APRIL 2023.
