QUATREFOIL LIBRARY IS A COMMUNITY CENTER THAT CULTIVATES THE FREE EXCHANGE OF IDEAS AND MAKES ACCESSIBLE LGBTQ+ MATERIALS FOR EDUCATION AND INSPIRATION.

LIBRARY - IT IS OUR CONTINUED EFFORT OF CURATING LGBTQ+ MATERIALS TO BE LENT TO THE COMMUNITY AND PROVIDING PROGRAMMING FOR CREATIVE QUEER INDIVIDUALS (SUCH AS AUTHOR READINGS, WRITING WORKSHOPS, EXHIBITS AND LECTURES, AND EVENTS CELEBRATING THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY IN LITERATURE). WE WORK TO PRESERVE, COLLECT AND DISPLAY OUR COLLECTION IN A WELCOMING AND SAFE ENVIRONMENT. PATRONS CONDUCTED RESEARCH, PARTICIPATED IN BOOK CLUBS, READ FOR FUN, CHECKED OUT LGBTQ+ MATERIALS, PARTICIPATED IN SEMINARS, AND CAME TO DISCOVER LGBTQ+ HISTORY IN THE TWIN CITIES.
SCHOLARSHIP FUND - AS PART OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY AND RECEIVING SUPPORT OVER THE MANY YEARS WE HAVE SERVICED THE COMMUNITY, IT IS OUR DUTY TO GIVE BACK TO OUR COMMUNITY AND TO CONTINUE TO EXPAND OUR MISSION. WE STARTED A SCHOLARSHIP FUND TO HELP ADDRESS ECONOMIC DISPARITIES IN THE LGBTQ+ COMMUNITY WHO WERE SEEKING OR ALREADY ATTENDING COLLEGE. STARTING IN 2019, THE LIBRARY HAS AWARDED A MINIMUM OF $1,000 EACH YEAR TO SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS AFTER A REVIEW OF APPLICATIONS SUBMITTED.
