LEADERSHIP ACADEMY: THE MISSION OF LEADERSHIP ACADEMY IS TO DEVELOP LEADERS WHO ARE PASSIONATE, EMPOWERED, VISIONARY AND COMMITTED TO LIFE-LONG LEARNING SO THEY ARE ABLE TO SUCCESSFULLY ADVOCATE FOR OLDER ADULTS WHILE EVOKING EXCELLENCE WITHIN THEIR ORGANIZATIONS. LEARNING OBJECTIVES INCLUDE UNDERSTANDING THE COMPONENTS OF LEADERSHIP REQUIRED TO TRANSFORM THE FUTURE OF AGING SERVICES, ADOPTING THE CHARACTERISTICS OF A SUCCESSFUL AGENT OF CHANGE, EXPLORING ADVOCACY, BUILDING TRUST WITHIN AN ORGANIZATION, UNDERSTANDING THE SKILLS THAT DRIVE INNOVATION, DISCOVERING NEW TECHNOLOGIES, AND EMBRACING A HOLISTIC APPROACH.
