TO PROVIDE SPIRITUALLY CENTERED, HOLISTIC, COMPASSIONATE SKILLED NURSING SERVICES TO THOSE IN OUR COMMUNITY FOR THE SHORT TERM OR LONG TERM, IN A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY.

A CONTINUING CARE RETIREMENT COMMUNITY, VIA CHRISTI VILLAGE MCLEAN (VCV-MC) OFFERS INDEPENDENT LIVING IN 42 DUPLEX UNITS, 54 ASSISTED LIVING APARTMENTS, ENHANCED SERVICES AND HEALTH CARE IN 36 PRIVATE ROOMS. INSPIRED BY THE HEALING MISSION OF THE CATHOLIC CHURCH WE MAXIMIZE DIGNITY AND INDEPENDENCE. ROOTED IN THE CATHOLIC TRADITION OF CARING, OUR COMMUNITY IS CONTINUALLY DEVELOPING AND ADOPTING NEW BEST PRACTICES IN CARE THAT ENHANCE THE EXPERIENCE OF OUR RESIDENTS, PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS AND PATIENTS. THE STAFF IS COMMITTED TO PROMOTING THE WELL-BEING OF THOSE WE SERVE THROUGH THE DELIVERY OF QUALITY CARE. IN FY 2022, 3,982 DAYS OF CARE WERE PROVIDED TO MANAGED MEDICAID RECIPIENTS AND 1,337 DAYS WERE PROVIDED TO MEDICARE RECIPIENTS. THE COMMUNITY OFFERS DISCOUNTED CARE TO PERSONS WITHOUT ADEQUATE FINANCIAL MEANS TO PAY FOR SERVICES, WHICH INCLUDES PARTICIPATION IN MEDICAID, MEDICARE, CHAMPUS, TRICARE, AND OTHER GOVERNMENT-SPONSORED HEALTH CARE PROGRAMS. FOR THOSE MEDICAID RESIDENTS SERVED, WE WERE REIMBURSED APPROXIMATELY $435,803 LESS THAN OUR COSTS. VCV-MC ALSO PROVIDED $12,112 ON OTHER PROGRAMS FOR THE POOR AND VULNERABLE IN THE GENERAL COMMUNITY. AS PART OF THE ASCENSION CATHOLIC HEALTH MINISTRY, THE FILING ORGANIZATION SERVED IN SUPPORT OF ASCENSION'S COMMITMENT TO BOTH CARE FOR PATIENTS AND COMMUNITIES AND SUPPORT CAREGIVERS AND OTHER ASSOCIATES THROUGH THE CHALLENGES OF THE COVID-19 GLOBAL PANDEMIC IN FY22.
