THE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE A CENTER FOR THE SUPPORT OF PROGRAM SERVICES FOR SENIORS, YOUTH, AND YOUNG CHILDREN OF THE COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION, THE ORGANIZATION COLLECTS AND DISTRIBUTES FOOD AND CLOTHING, AS WELL AS PROVIDES SUPPORT FOR ELIGIBLE PUBLIC CHARITIES WITH SIMILAR MISSIONS.

THE LANGUAGE PROGRAM PROVIDES FACILITY AND TEACHERS FOR A GERMAN LANGUAGE PROGRAM FOR CHILDREN IN KINDERGARTEN THROUGH 8TH GRADE. ALL TEACHERS ARE CERTIFIED, TUITION IS 50% BELOW SIMILAR PROGRAMS OFFERED IN THE AREA. THE PROGRAM IS OPEN AND ADVERTISED TO THE PUBLIC. FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE IS OFFERED TO ANY FAMILIES IN NEED.
THE CHILDREN AND YOUTH PROGRAMS PROVIDE STRUCTURED PROGRAMS TO TEACH FOLK DANCING AND SINGING. THE CHILDREN AND YOUTH GROUP ORGANIZE FOOD DRIVES. THE CHILDREN AND YOUTH GROUPS ALSO VOLUNTEER IN AREA NURSING HOMES.THE SENIOR PROGRAM SERVICE CONSISTS OF PROVIDING A FACILITY, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC, FOR SOCIALIZATION, LECTURES, AND SUBSIDIZED MEALS TO SENIOR CITIZENS AT VARIOUS TIMES THROUGHOUT THE MONTH. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF SENIORS WHO PARTICIPATE IN THE SENIOR PROGRAM.
COMMUNITY PROGRAM SERVICES: DIRECT FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR IRC 501(C)(3) ORGANIZATIONS IN THE COMMUNITY. IN ADDITION, THE SOCIETY ORGANIZES AND COLLECTS THOUSANDS OF NONPERISHABLE FOOD ITEMS THAT ARE DONATED TO THE DES PLAINES SELF HELP PANTRY.THE CHILDREN AND YOUTH GROUPS ALSO CONDUCT A COLLECTION OF CHRISTMAS PRESENTS FOR UNDERPRIVILED AREA CHILDREN. THE PRESENTS ARE DONATED TO THE DES PLAINES SELF HELP PANTRY FOR DISTRIBUTION.
