THE ASSOCIATION CONDUCTED VARIOUS GOVERNMENT RELATIONS ACTIVITIES TO SUPPORT PUBLIC POLICIES ENABLING THE FREE MARKET SYSTEM TO OPERATE EFFICIENTLY AND OPPOSE THOSE THAT HINDER IT. ACTIVITIES CONDUCTED RELATED TO STATE LAWS AND REGULATIONS AFFECTING AREAS SUCH AS BUSINESS LIABILITY, CONSUMER FRAUD, CREDIT AND FINANCE, EDUCATION, ENVIRONMENT AND UTILITIES, FOOD LIQUOR & TOBACCO, HEALTHCARE, LOSS PREVENTION, PERSONNEL, REGULATIONS AND LICENSING, TAXES, AND TRANSPORTATION.
THE ASSOCIATION SPONSORED GROUP PURCHASING PROGRAMS FOR MEMBERS THAT PROVIDE FAVORABLE VENDOR PRICING AND SERVICES TO MEMBERS IN SUCH AREAS AS ELECTRICITY AND GAS PURCHASES.
