MAINTAINED AND CONTINUED IMPROVING TWO MAJOR MUSEUM SITES AND A RESEARCH ARCHIVE. DURING COVID CLOSURE FOR THE FIRST HALF OF THE YEAR, WE PREPARED A REGULAR SCHEDULE OF WINDOW EXHIBITS VIEWED FROM OUTDOORS. RENEWED OUR MAIN EXHIBITION CENTER AND MUSEUM STORE TO THE PUBLIB FOR THE 2ND HALF OF THE YEAR WITH NEW AND IMPROVED EXHIBITS AND OFFERINGS. CONTINUED ONLINE LOCAL HISTORY RESEARCH CORRESPONDENCE WITH PATRONS. MAINTAINED COLLECTIONS OF THOUSANDS OF PROCELESS HISTORICAL MATERIALS, INCLUDING ARCHIVAL MATERIALS SUCH AS PHOTOS AND DOCUMENTS, ALONG WITH THREE-DIMENSIONAL ARTIFACTS, ALL RELATING TO AURORA HISTORY, PRESERVING THESE FOR THE EDUCATION OF PRESENT AND FUTURE GENERATIONS. CONTINUED TO COLLECT AND PRESERVE NEW MATERIALS TO GROW THE COLLECTION. OFFERED OUTREACH WITH MONTHLY HISTORICAL ARTICLES AND PICTORIALS ONLINE THROUGH OUR WEBSITE AND IN "KANE COUNTY CONNECTS."
