ANNUAL REFRIGERATION WAREHOUSE MANAGEMENT INSTITUTE FOR TRAINING APPROXIMATELY 383 MEMBERS.THE WFLO INSTITUTE PROGRAM WAS ABLE TO RESUME IN 2022 AFTER NOT BEING ABLE TO TAKE PLACE IN 2021 DUE TO COVID. THE FOLLOWING PROGRAMS TOOK PLACE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR - WFLO COLD CHAIN INSTITUTE WEST (TEMPE, AZ//JUNE/150 ATTENDEES), WFLO COLD CHAIN INSTITUTE EAST (ATLANTA, GA/JUNE/100 ATTENDEES), AND WFLO COLD CHAIN INSTITUTE LATIN AMERICA (MEXICO CITY, MEXICO/JULY/50 ATTENDEES). THE WFLO BOARD WAS ALSO ABLE TO MEET FACE-TO-FACE IN APRIL 2022 FOR THEIR ANNUAL STRATEGIC BOARD MEETING. IN ADDITION, WHILE GLOBAL TRAVEL FOR PROJECT WORK WAS SEVERELY LIMITED IN 2021, THAT WAS NOT THE CASE IN 2022 AS THE WORLD CONTINUED TO OPEN BACK UP AND THUS WFLO SAW AN INCREASED NUMBER OF TRAVEL OPPORTUNITIES TO CONDUCT PROJECT WORK ON THE GROUND IN MANY DIFFERENT COUNTRIES GLOBALLY.

RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT IN THE FIELD OF REFRIDGERATION OF FOOD AND COMMODITIES GLOBALLY.IN 2022 WFLO SUPPORTED 12 INTERNATIONAL DEVELOPMENT PROJECTS COVERING 16 COUNTRIES. WE SUCCESSFULLY LED AN EDUCATIONAL TWO COLD CHAIN STUDY TOURS FOR DELEGATIONS FROM THE DOMINICAN REPUBLIC TO THE USA AND MEXICO, COMPLETED COLD CHAIN TECHNICAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENTS IN NORTH AFRICA AND THAILAND. WE FINALIZED TWO FEASIBILITY STUDIES IN GHANA AND EGYPT, AND COMPLETED MULTIPLE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE ACTIVITIES INCLUDING IN GEORGIA, EGYPT, CAMBODIA, AND BANGLADESH.
