THE NSGA NOW MAGAZINE IS PUBLISHED SIX TIMES A YEAR AND HAS APPROXIMATELY 2,000 SUBSCRIBERS, MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS. MEMBERS CAN ACCESS DIGITAL COPIES BY LOGGING INTO THE NSGA WEBSITE. ANNUAL ISSUE HIGHLIGHTS INCLUDE INFORMATION ON THE NSGA MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE & TEAM DEALER SUMMIT AND SPORTING GOODS INDUSTRY HALL OF FAME. REGULAR TOPICS INCLUDE ASSOCIATION AND MEMBER NEWS, RESEARCH INSIGHTS, ADVOCACY, AND UPDATES ON RULE CHANGES AND INDUSTRY-RELATED NEWS. NSGA ALSO PROVIDES ALL OF THIS INFORMATION THROUGH THE NSGA SCOREBOARD, AN ELECTRONIC BI-WEEKLY NEWSLETTER, WHICH GOES TO MEMBERS AND PROSPECTS. THERE IS SOME MEMBERS-ONLY CONTENT. NSGA ALSO HAS A MONTHLY NEWSLETTER FOR ITS HOCKEY DEALERS ASSOCIATION DIVISION, THE HOCKEY VOICE, AND A NEWSLETTER FOR THE NATIONAL SKI AND SNOWBOARD RETAILERS ASSOCIATION.
THE ANNUAL NSGA MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE & TEAM DEALER SUMMIT IS THE PREMIER EVENT IN THE SPORTING GOODS INDUSTRY WHERE ATTENDEES CAN NETWORK AND LEARN WITH TOP EXECUTIVES AND DECISION MAKERS FROM ACROSS THE INDUSTRY. THE MANAGEMENT CONFERENCE BEGAN IN 1965 FOR RETAILERS AND TEAM DEALERS TO SHARE PROBLEMS, SEEK SOLUTIONS AND EXCHANGE IDEAS. THE TEAM DEALER SUMMIT WAS ADDED IN 1999 FOR A SPECIALIZED EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCE TRACK TO ADDRESS GROWING NEEDS IN THE INDUSTRY. THE CONFERENCE & SUMMIT TODAY CONTINUES TO WELCOME ATTENDEES FROM ACROSS THE INDUSTRY EACH YEAR AND HAS GROWN TO INCLUDE MANUFACTURERS, INDUSTRY ASSOCIATES, AND LEADING CORPORATE EXPERTS WORLDWIDE. DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, A ONE DAY VIRTUAL EVENT THAT INCLUDED SESSIONS ON THE PAYCHECK PROTECTION PROGRAM, THE LANDSCAPE OF YOUTH AND TEAM SPORTS AND SUPPLY CHAIN ISSUES WASCONDUCTED.
NSGA'S RESEARCH PROVIDES A VARIETY OF PRODUCTS FOR THE SPORTING GOODSINDUSTRY AND BEYOND. ANNUALLY, NSGA OFFERS STUDIES EXPLORING PARTICIPATION IN VARIOUS RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES INCLUDING FREQUENCY AND DEMOGRAPHIC INFORMATION. IN ADDITION, NSGA OFFERS HISTORICAL REPORTS OF THE PARTICIPATION STUDY FOR TRENDING AND ANALYSIS. NSGA ALSO PREPARES CUSTOM RESEARCH FOR THE BENEFIT OF ITS MEMBERS AND THE INDUSTRY.
