NAC CONDUCTED ITS ANNUAL EXPO UNDER THE BANNER OF "NAC RETREAT WEEK" IN 2020. IT WAS A WEEK LONG SERIES OF ZOOM MEETINGS THAT PROVIDED A FORUM FOR INDIVIDUALS TO EXCHANGE IDEAS AND INDUSTRY PRACTICE. BUSINESS PROGRAMS WERE PROVIDED TO DELEGATES, COVERING A WIDE ARRAY OF SUBJECT MATTER AS WELL AS SOCIAL EVENTS FOR INTERACTION. THERE WERE ABOUT 150 ATTENDEES.2020 REGIONAL MEETINGS WERE CONDUCTED AS A SERIES OF PODCASTS DUE TO THE PANDEMIC. REGIONAL MEETINGS EACH PROVIDE A FORUM FOR INDIVIDUALS TO EXCHANGE IDEAS AND INDUSTRY PRACTICE. BUSINESS PROGRAMS WERE PROVIDED TO ATTENDEES, COVERING A WIDE ARRAY OF SUBJECT MATTER AS WELL AS SOCIAL EVENTS FOR INTERACTION. OVER 300 DOWNLOADS OF THE PODCAST OCCURRED.PUBLICATIONS IN 2020 WHERE LIMITED TO DIGITAL ONLY. PUBLICATIONS PRODUCED BY THE ASSOCIATION EDUCATE MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS ON TOPICS RELATING TO THE CONCESSION INDUSTRY. THE JOURNAL IS SENT TO APROX. 600 MEMBERS, PLUS OTHER INDIVIDUALS WITHIN THE INDUSTRY TOTALING APPROXIMATELY 1500. EMAIL NEWS IS ALSO SENT THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO MEMBERS AND OTHERS IN THE INDUSTRY ON ASSOCIATION ACTIVITIES, NEWS, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AND EVENTS. INFORMATION IS ALSO POSTED ON THE ASSOCIATION'S FACEBOOK AND LINKED IN PAGES.THE CONCESSION MANAGEMENT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM PROVIDES 25 HOURS OF IN-DEPTH INSTRUCTION TO MEMBERS AND NONMEMBERS REQUIRED FOR MANAGING A SUCCESSFUL CONCESSION OPERATION.
