RAISED FUNDS FOR MUSICAL AND GUARD INSTRUCTION AND COMPETITION FOR THE DCHS MARCHING BAND AND GUARD PROGRAMS. PROMOTED BAND AND GUARD ACTIVITIES AND REPUTATION AT BOTH A LOCAL AND NATIONAL LEVEL. SUPPORTED APPROXIMATELY 500 BAND AND GUARD STUDENTS FROM BOTH THE DESOTO CENTRAL HIGH SCHOOL AND DESOTO CENTRAL MIDDLE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING UNIFORMS, EQUIPMENT, PROPS, MUSIC, SUPPLEMENTAL STAFF, AND BY COVERING COMPETITION FEES, TRAVEL AND LODGING EXPENSE.
