PATIENT CARE SERVICES. PATIENT ENCOUNTERS THIS YEAR WERE 83,941.
SUPPORT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA AT BIRMINGHAM. THE VALLEY FOUNDATION PROVIDES THE UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA BIRMINGHAM'S HUNTSVILLE REGIONAL MEDICAL CAMPUS ACCESS TO PATIENTS AND MEDICAL SERVICES TO FACILITATE THE CLINICAL TRAINING NECESSARY TO MEET EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIRD AND FOURTH YEAR MEDICAL STUDENTS, INTERNAL AND FAMILY MEDICINE RESIDENTS. TRAINING WAS PROVIDED FOR 60 RESIDENTS AND 67 MEDICAL STUDENTS.
CONTRACTED CLINICAL SERVICES TO PROVIDE TO A LOCAL NURSING HOME, THE MADISON COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER, HOSPICE & ALETHEIA HOUSE, COUNTY JAIL, THRIVE ALABAMA AND HUNTSVILLE HOSPITAL.
