THE ASSOCIATION RAISED PUBLIC AWARENESS RELATING TO THE QUALITY OF FISHING ON THE SOUTH SHORE OF LAKE SUPERIOR THROUGH ITS 128 MEMBERS AND SPONSORSHIP OF THE TEAL LAKE ICE FISHING DERBY, SPRING SHOOTOUT FISHING DAY, KIDS FISHING DAY, WOMENS AND CHILDRENS FISHING DAY, VETERANS FISHING DAY AND THE FALL CLASSIC FISHING TOURNAMENT. THE FUNDS THROUGH MEMBERSHIP DUES AND TOURNAMENT FEES WERE USED TO UPGRADE THE LOWER HARBOR FISH CLEANING STATION.
