THE WOMEN'S FOUNDATION OF NEW JERSEY IS COMMITTED TO PROVIDING CHARITABLE FUNDING AND SERVICES IN ORDER TO MAKE A SIGNIFICANT DIFFERENCE IN THE LIVES OF OUR NEW JERSEY NEIGHBORS.

WOMEN UNITED IN PHILANTHROPY. IN 2021 THE FOUNDATION BECAME THE FISCAL AGENT FOR THIS WOMEN'S GIVING CIRCLE. WE ACCEPTED A $100,000 TRANSFER OF CASH ASSETS FROM THE PREVIOUS AGENT, BERGEN COUNTY'S UNITED WAY, AND BEGAN TO ACCEPT DONATIONS FOR A GRANT TO BE AWARDED IN 2022.
ACTION AGAINST HUNGER. THIS PROGRAM DELIVERED APPROXIMATELY 31,800 POUNDS OF FOOD TO LOCAL FOOD BANKS AND PANTRIES IN 2019. THIS PROGRAM WAS SUSPENDED IN 2020 AND 2021 DUE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC. HOWEVER, THE FOUNDATION CONTINUED TO RAISE FUNDS VIA ITS WEBSITE TO HELP FEED ITS NORTH JERSEY NEIGHBORS. THE FOUNDATION RAISED $8,015 FOR THIS EFFORT IN 2021.
