THE ALLIANCE ENTERED INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE FORT WAYNE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS TO MANAGE, MAINTAIN, REPAIR AND IMPROVE THE PARK. THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT BEGAN 9/1/00. FROM 5/11/00 THROUGH 9/1/00, THE ALLIANCE FOCUSED ITS ACTIVITIES ON NEGOTIATING THE AGREEMENT WITH THE PARK BOARD AND PUTTING THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE IN PLACE. SINCE 9/1/00, THE ALLIANCE HAS PROVIDED SERVICES AND UNDERTAKEN FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF HEADWATERS PARK.
