TO PERFORM SERVICES AND OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES ASSOCIATED WITH DEVELOPING, MAINTAINING, AND IMPROVING HEADWATERS PARK IN FORT WAYNE, INDIANA, FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PROVIDING AND MANAGING PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES AT THE PARK, PROMOTING THE PARK TO THE PUBLIC, RAISING MONEY TO BE USED FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PARK, AND MAKING CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS TO THE PARK.

THE ALLIANCE ENTERED INTO AN AGREEMENT WITH THE FORT WAYNE BOARD OF PARK COMMISSIONERS TO MANAGE, MAINTAIN, REPAIR AND IMPROVE THE PARK. THE TERM OF THE AGREEMENT BEGAN 9/1/00. FROM 5/11/00 THROUGH 9/1/00, THE ALLIANCE FOCUSED ITS ACTIVITIES ON NEGOTIATING THE AGREEMENT WITH THE PARK BOARD AND PUTTING THE ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE IN PLACE. SINCE 9/1/00, THE ALLIANCE HAS PROVIDED SERVICES AND UNDERTAKEN FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES FOR THE BENEFIT OF HEADWATERS PARK.
