INDIANA SOCCER, UNDER THE BANNER OF INDIANA FUTSAL, SUCCEEDED IN WORKING WITH SEVERAL YOUTH SERVICE ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE HARD-SURFACE, SMALL-SIDED SOCCER COURTS (FUTSAL COURTS). THESE COURTS ARE IN AREAS THAT PREDOMINATELY SERVE FAMILIES WHOSE CHILDREN ARE ON FREE AND REDUCED LUNCH PROGRAMS. HUNDREDS OF CHILDREN ARE AND WILL CONTINUE TO BE POSITIVELY IMPACTED BY THESE SAFE, HEALTHY PLAYING ENVIRONMENTS. INDIANA SOCCER WAS ALSO ABLE TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN PROVIDING PROGRAMING AT THESE NEW FUTSAL COURTS. INDIANA SOCCER WILL CONTINUE TO EXPAND THESE EFFORTS IN ORDER TO PROVIDE SMALL-SIDED SOCCER OPPORTUNITIES FOR CHILDREN WHO ARE CURRENTLY WITHOUT ACCESS TO PLAYING SOCCER AND EXPERIENCING THE COGNITIVE, SOCIAL AND PHYSICAL BENEFITS EXPERIENCED BY PLAYING SMALL-SIDED SOCCER/FUTSAL.
