THE BEAUTILLION MILITAIRE IS A 20-WEEK RITE OF PASSAGE PROGRAM FOR MALES IN GRADES 11-12 IN CENTRAL INDIANA PUBLIC AND PRIVATE SCHOOLS. THE PURPOSE OF THE PROGRAM IS TO INCREASE ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT, PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT, CIVIC ENGAGEMENT, ETHNIC PRIDE AND LEADERSHIP SKILLS BY SURROUNDING THE BEAUS WITH POSITIVE ROLE MODELS AND MENTORS.
SUMMER ACADEMY IS A 6-WEEK PROGRAM FOR STUDENTS IN PRE-KINDERGARTEN THROUGH GRADE 8, DESIGNED TO ADDRESS KNOWLEDGE LOSS OVER THE SUMMER ALSO REFERRED TO AS THE 'SUMMER LEARNING LOSS'. THE PROGRAM BALANCES ACADEMIC CLASSES WITH CULTURAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES THAT DEVELOP SELF-ESTEEM AND RESPECT FOR OTHERS.
TEAM MENTORING IS AN 18-WEEK PROGRAM WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE GUIDANCE THROUGH MENTORING TO 5TH, 6TH, 7TH, 8TH, AND 9TH GRADE YOUNG MEN. TO IMPACT THEM WITH A CURRICULUM THAT WILL HELP THEM WITH CONFLICT RESOLUTION, GROWTH MINDSET, LEADERSHIP SKILLS, MENTORING, HEALTH AND WELLNESS, EDUCATION AND ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT THROUGH INTERACTION THAT WILL INSPIRE AND GIVE THEM A PATH TO HELPING THEM REACH THEIR GOALS. THESE PROGRAMS OPERATE IN SEVERAL DIFFERENT INDIANAPOLIS PUBLIC SCHOOLS ON THE NEAR EAST AND NORTH SIDE.
