THE 4-H COUNCIL ALONG WITH THE EXTENSION OFFICE PROVIDES KIDS WITH PROJECT MANUALS AND TAKES CARE OF THE EXPENSES NECESSARY TO CONDUCT THE FAIR, SUCH AS RIBBONS AND JUDGES FOR PROJECTS. KIDS WERE ALSO SENT TO PURDUE UNIVERSITY AND OTHER WORKSHOPS WITH THE MAJORITY OF THOSE COSTS PAID BY THE 4-H COUNCIL.
THE 4-H COUNCIL CONDUCTS THE CLAY COUNTY 4-H FAIR ANNUALY. THE FAIR LASTS 8 DAYS AND FEATURES MANY PROJECTS AND COMPETITIONS. THE 2020 FAIR FEATURED APPROXIMATELY 1,534 PROJECTS COMPLETED BY APPROXIMATELY 550 KIDS.
SCHOLARSHIPS ARE GRANTED TO COLLEGE BOUND STUDENTS EACH YEAR.
