THE FOUNDATION WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE PURPOSE OF FURTHERING EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF FFA MEMBERS WITH EMPHASIS IN ALL SEGMENTS OF THE INDUSTRY OF AGRICULTURE IN AMERICA.

CAREER DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS HELP FFA MEMBERS LEARN AND GROW IN PROMISING CAREERS IN AGRICULTURE AND RELATED AREAS, FROM BIOTECHNOLOGY TO AGRICULTURAL BUSINESS AND MARKETING TO TEACHING. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE THOSE THAT AWARD FFA MEMBERS FOR BEING THE BEST AT THEIR AG SPECIALTY SUCH AS CAREER DEVELOPMENT EVENTS AND DIFFERENT PROFICIENCY AWARDS. FFA MEMBERS CAN PARTICIPATE AND WIN AT THE CHAPTER, STATE AND NATIONAL LEVELS. THE NATIONAL AWARD WINNERS ARE DETERMINED DURING THE NATIONAL CONVENTION AND ARE PRESENTED AT SPECIAL CEREMONIES. ALMOST ALL FFA MEMBERS HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN ONE MORE OF THESE AWARD PROGRAMS AND MORE THAN 2,100 WERE PART OF THE NATIONAL AWARDS. THE FOUNDATION'S COLLEGIATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM AWARDED A LITTLE OVER $2.5 MILLION TO MORE THAN 1,100 FFA MEMBERS IN 2023. NATIONAL FFA FOUNDATION MAKES GRANTS TO THE NATIONAL FFA ORGANIZATION AND OTHER AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION RELATED ORGANIZATIONS FOR THE OPERATION OF THEIR AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION RELATED PROGRAMS.
PERSONAL GROWTH PROGRAMS ALLOW FFA MEMBERS TO PARTICIPATE IN ACTIVITES THAT HELP THEM GROW. THEY WORK WITH YOUNGER STUDENTS AND HELP THEM LEARN MORE ABOUT AGRICULTURE AND HOW IT HELPS FEED THE WORLD AND ALL THE OTHER CONTRIBUTIONS AGRICULTURE MAKES IN THEIR EVERYDAY LIVES. FFA MEMBERS ALSO PARTICIPATE IN MAKING THEIR COMMUNITIES BETTER PLACES TO LIVE.
PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT/OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE THE DEVELOPMENT OF AGRICULTURAL RELATED CURRICULUMS TO HELP FFA ADVISORS SUCCESSFULLY TEACH FFA MEMBERS. OTHER PROGRAMS INCLUDE MAINTAINING THE HALL OF ACHIEVEMENT WHICH SHOWS THE PROGRESS OF FFA MEMBERS OVER THE YEARS AND OTHER PROGRAMS THAT HELP FFA ADVISORS TO BE THEIR BEST IN ORDER TO HELP FFA MEMBERS BE THEIR BEST.
LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMS ALLOW FFA MEMBERS TO DEVELOP THEIR LEADERSHIP SKILLS BY BEING ABLE TO PARTICIPATE IN VARIOUS CONFERENCES AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE STATE OFFICER SUMMIT, THE NATIONAL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE FOR STATE OFFICERS AND VARIOUS LEADERSHIP WORKSHOPS AND ACTIVITIES HELD AT THE NATIONAL CONVENTION. MORE THAN 800 FFA MEMBERS PARTICIPATED IN AND BENEFITED FROM THE FIRST TWO CONFERENCES. MORE THAN 70,000 FFA MEMBERS ATTENDED THE NATIONAL CONVENTION IN 2023 AND HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE IN THE LEADERSHIP ACTIVITIES.
