THE YMCA IS A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PUT CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT BUILD HEALTHY SPIRIT, MIND AND BODY FOR ALL. OUR CAUSE IS TO STRENGTHEN COMMUNITY WITH PROGRAMS FOR YOUTH DEVELOPMENT, HEALTHY LIVING AND SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY.

YOUTH DEVELOPMENT: PROVIDED HIGH-QUALITY PRESCHOOL EDUCATION PROGRAMMING FOR OVER 100 CHILDREN AND HIGH-QUALITY, STEM BASED, BEFORE AND AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMMING FOR OVER 200 CHILDREN. TUITION SCHOLARSHIPS AND SUBSIDIES WERE PROVIDED TO OVER 20% OF THE PROGRAM PARTICIPANTS THAT OTHERWISE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO AFFORD HIGH-QUALITY CHILDCARE, ALLOWING PARENTS TO WORK AND PROVIDE FOR THEIR FAMILIES. PROVIDED SPORTS PROGRAMMING FOR YOUTH, TEACHING OUR CORE VALUES OF RESPECT, RESPONSIBILITY, HONESTY, AND CARING. TAUGHT CHILDREN LIFE-SAVING SWIMMING LESSONS.
HEALTHY LIVING: IMPROVED OUR COMMUNITY'S HEALTH AND WELL-BEING , THROUGH MEMBERSHIP AND HEALTHY LIVING PROGRAMMING FOR ALL AGES. PROVIDED ACTIVE OLDER ADULTS PROGRAMMING, INCLUDING FITNESS CLASSES AND SOCIAL INTERACTION OPPORTUNITIES.
