THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDED CHILDREN WITH ADULT GUIDANCE THROUGH ONE-ON-ONE MENTORING RELATIONSHIPS WITH ADULT VOLUNTEERS. IN 2021 WE WERE ABLE TO EXPAND SERVICES BY HIRING TWO REMOTE WORKING CASE MANAGERS, ONE IN VALPARAISO, INDIANA AND THE OTHER IN ST. JOSEPH, MICHIGAN. THESE STAFF MEMBERS PROVIDED A LOCAL DIRECT SERVICE COMPONENT CREATING NEW OPPORTUNITIES FOR AT-RISK YOUTH IN THOSE COMMUNITIES. WE ALSO WORKED CLOSELY WITH OUR PARTNER AGENCY, BIG BROTHERS OF ELKHART COUNTY, THROUGH THE SHARING OF RESOURCES AND CASE LOADS AND WORKED TO MERGE THE ORGANIZATIONS IN 2022.
