Part 3
SPECIAL OLYMPICS IS AN OPPORTUNITY FOR ATHLETES WITH DISABILITIES TO COMPETE IN SPORTING EVENTS. THIS GIVES THE ATHLETES THE OPPORTUNITY TO DEVELOP PHYSICAL FITNESS, SHOW COURAGE AND EXPERIENCE THE SHARING OF GIFTS, SKILLS AND FRIENDSHIPS. THIS PROGRAM HAS APPROXIMATELY 15-20 PARTICIPANTS.
PROVIDE A BUILDING THAT IS USED FOR ADULT DAYCARE SERVICES AND REHAB. THIS BUILDING IS ALSO USED FOR OUTSIDE CONTRACT LABOR THAT IS SUPPORTED BY A PROVIDER. THIS PROGRAM IS BENEFITED BY APPROXIMATELY 20 ADULTS.
