TO INSTILL THE PRINCIPLES OF CHARITY, JUSTICE, BROTHERLY LOVE AND FIDELITY; TO RECOGNIZE A BELIEF IN GOD; TO PROMOTE THE WELFARE AND ENHANCE THE HAPPINESS OF ITS MEMBERS; TO QUICKEN THE SPIRIT OF AMERICAN PATRIOTISM, TO CULTIVATE GOOD FELLOWSHIP; TO PERPETUATE ITSELF AS A FRATERNAL ORGANIZATION, AND TO PROVIDE FOR ITS GOVERNMENT, THE BENEVOLENT AND PROTECTIVE ORDER OF ELKS OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, A WILL TO SERVE THE PEOPLE AND COMMUNITIES THROUGH BENEVOLENT PROGRAMS, DEMONSTRATING THE ELKS CARE AND ELKS SHARE.

DUES ARE PAID TO THE BENEVOLENT AND PROTECTIVE ORDER OF ELKS AT THE NATIONAL, STATE AND DISTRICT LEVELS. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION MADE CONTRIBUTIONS IN THE AMOUNT OF 12,922 TO THE NATIONAL BENEVOLENT AND PROTECTIVE ORDER OF ELKS NATIONAL FOUNDATION AND CANCER FOUNDATION. THROUGH VARIOUS EVENTS THE ORGANIZATION WAS ABLE TO CONTRIBUTE 7,650 TO ALLIANCE INDUSTRIES, POLICE DEPARTMENT AND EAGLE SCOUT AWARDS.
