DONATED GOODS AND RETAIL PROGRAM SERVICES: GOODWILL UTILIZES ITS DONATED GOODS PROGRAM AND RETAIL STORES TO PROVIDE EMPLOYMENT AND ON-THE-JOB TRAINING TO PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES, PEOPLE WITH DISADVANTAGES AND OTHERS HAVING A DIFFICULT TIME FINDING A EMPLOYMENT. GOODWILL ACCEPTS CLOTHING AND OTHER HOUSEHOLD DONATED GOODS FROM THE PUBLIC AND SELLS THESE DONATIONS IN GOODWILL COMMUNITY-BASED RETAIL STORES. REVENUE FROM THE SALE OF THESE GOODS GOES DIRECTLY TOWARD SUPPORTING AND GROWING CRITICAL COMMUNITY-BASED EMPLOYMENT PROGRAMS.
RECYCLING SERVICES PROGRAM: GOODWILL CREATES EMPLOYMENT AND JOB-TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE DISABILITIES OR OTHER CHALLENGES TO EMPLOYMENT BY RECYCLING. RECYCLING OPERATION OFFERS OPPORTUNITIES IN A VARIETY OF WORK EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING ENVIRONMENTS; SUCH AS DOCUMENT DESTRUCTION, RECYCLING, SORTING, OPERATION OF EQUIPMENT AND MATERIAL HANDLING. OVER 1,751,343 POUNDS OF MATERIAL WAS KEPT OUT OF THE LANDFILL.
E SCRAP PROGRAM: E SCRAP PROGRAM IS A PROGRAM IN PARTNERSHIP WITH DELL COMPUTERS TO RECYCLE COMPUTER EQUIPMENT. 42,311 LBS OF E SCRAP WERE RECYCLED IN 2021. 92 INDIVIDUALS UTILIZED SELF GUIDED COMPUTER LAB.
