THE YMCA'S MISSION IS TO PUT CHRISTIAN PRINCIPLES INTO PRACTICE THROUGH PROGRAMS THAT BUILD HEALTHY SPIRIT, MIND AND BODY FOR ALL.

OUR BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM SERVED 195 STUDENTS IN 3 SCHOOL SYSTEMS DURING 2021 AND OUR SUMMER DAY CAMP SERVED 72 CHILDREN. WE HAVE FULLY RECOVERED IN NUMBERS AFTER THE PANDEMIC AND CONTINUE TO HAVE A WAITING LIST. WE SERVED OVER 20,000 MEALS AND SNACKS LAST YEAR TO CHILDREN 18 & UNDER IN OUR PROGRAMS AND COMMUNITY THROUGH THE CACFP & SFSP FOOD PROGRAMS. WE HOSTED SEVERAL BITTY SPORT PROGRAMS FOR OUR YOUNGER KIDS AS WELL AS YOUTH SPORTS FOR OUR OLDER KIDS. WE ALSO HELD SWIM LESSONS FOR SEVERAL KIDS AS WELL AS BIRTHDAY PARTIES IN THE AQUATICS AREA. GROUP FITNESS CLASSES WERE A SUCCESS IN 2021 INCLUDING OUR WATER AEROBICS CLASSES. WE HELD ROCK STEADY BOXING FOR THOSE WITH PARKINSONS DISEASE AND SILVER SNEAKERS FOR OUR OLDER ACTIVE ADULTS.
