THE YWCA IS DEDICATED TO ELIMINATING RACISM, EMPOWERING WOMEN AND PROMOTING PEACE, JUSTICE, FREEDOM AND DIGNITY FOR ALL. THE ORGANIZATION SERVES THE COMMUNITY THROUGH A VARIETY OF PROGRAMS INCLUDING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, HOUSING, AND YOUTH PROGRAMS.

HOUSING PROGRAM-THE HOUSING PROGRAM PROVIDES SAFE, STABLE, SUPPORTIVE HOUSING AND INTENSIVE CASE MANAGEMENT FOR HOMELESS WOMEN AND FAMILIES. RESIDENTS WORK WITH HOUSING STAFF TO DEVELOP PROGRAM GOALS OF SELF- SUFFICIENCY, ACCOUNTABILITY, RESPONSIBILITY, EMOTIONAL STABILITY, PERSONAL GROWTH, ECONOMIC ADVANCEMENT, AND PERMANENT HOUSING OPPORTUNITIES. THE HOUSING PROGRAM WAS DISCONTINUED AT THE END OF 2021.
SURVIVOR SERVICES PROGRAM-THIS PROGRAM SERVICES DOMESTIC VIOLENCE, SEXUAL ASSAULT, RAPE CRISIS, AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING VICTIMS AND INCLUDES A 24-HOUR PROTECTIVE SHELTER, A 24-HOUR IMMEDIATE HOUSING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE HOTLINE, CHILD AND COURT ADVOCACY, COMPLETE CONFIDENTIALITY, CASE MANAGEMENT, SUPPORT AND EDUCATIONAL GROUPS, ON-SITE MENTAL HEALTH AND ALCOHOL-DRUG TREATMENT SERVICES, REFERRALS TO COMMUNITY AGENCIES, ECONOMIC EMPOWERMENT, AND EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE.
YOUTH SERVICES PROGRAM-THIS PROGRAM INCLUDES SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM WHICH PROVIDES NUTRITIOUS MEALS TO CHILDREN AGES 1-18 DURING THE SUMMER MONTHS. THE YOUTH SERVICES PROGRAM ALSO PROVIDES VARIOUS OTHER YOUTH CURRICULUMS. IN 2021, THE HEALTH SERVICES PROGRAM WAS COMBINED INTO THE YOUTH PROGRAM.
