COUNTY FAIR - A WEEK-LONG ORGANIZED SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES AND EVENTS TO PROMOTE AND ENCOURAGE AGRICULTURE, INDUSTRY, SCIENCE, ART AND OTHER INTERESTS OF CHAMPAIGN COUNTY. TOTAL ATTENDANCE FOR THE 2021 FAIR WAS APPROXIMATELY 54,633.
JUNIOR FAIR - TO FULFILL THE MISSION OF THE CHAMPAIGN COUNTY FAIR SPECIFICALLY FOR THE YOUTH AS FOLLOWS: TO INCREASE THE INTEREST AMONG YOUTH GROUPS FOR ACTIVELY EXHIBITING AT THE FAIR; TO GIVE YOUTH A VOICE IN PROGRAM POLICIES TOWARD IMPROVING THE QUALITY OF THE FAIR, AND TO HAVE YOUTH WORKING WITH ADVISORS IN PLANNING AND CONDUCTING EVENTS UNDER THE DIRECTION OF THE CHAMPAIGN COUNTY SENIOR FAIR BOARD.
