SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION SQUADRON. TO OPERATE A LOCAL SQUADRON OF SONS, GRANDSONS, AND GREAT GRANDSONS OF VETERANS TO SUPPORT THE PROGRAMS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION. LARGEST EVENT IS TO RAISE MONEY FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS.


TYPE III BINGO OPERATIONS. PROFITS USED TO FUND CHILDREN AND YOUTH, AND OTHER COMMUNITY AND LEGION PROGRAMS INCLUDING OTTAWA-GLANDORF ATHLETIC BOOSTERS, OTTAWA-GLANDORF BAND BOOSTERS, AND THE AMERICAN LEGION BUCKEYE BOYS STATE.

IT IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT COMMUNITY-SERVICE ORGANIZATION WHICH NOW NUMBERS OVER 2 MILLION MEMBERS, MEN AND WOMEN, IN NEARLY 15,000 AMERICAN LEGION POSTS WORLDWIDE.


BASEBALL: TO OPERATE A LOCAL AMERICAN LEGION BASEBALL TEAM FOR YOUTHS 19 AND UNDER. MORE THAN 3,400 TEAMS AND NEARLY 55,000 YOUTH PARTICIPATE IN THE PROGRAM YEARLY FROM ALL 50 STATES AND CANADA.
