THE ORGANIZATION CONDUCTS BASIC AND APPLIED ECOLOGICAL RESEARCH. THE ORGANIZATION MAINTAINS A STATE-OF-THE-ART GREENHOUSE FACILITY IN WESTERN NEW YORK STATE AND RESEARCH ARBORETUMS IN WESTERN NEW YORK AND CENTRAL FLORIDA. THE GREENHOUSE FACILITY HAS IN THE PAST AND CONTINUES TO HOUSE VARIOUS MULTI-YEAR EXPERIMENTS WITH TREE SEEDLINGS. THESE STUDIES HAVE LED TO MULTIPLE PUBLICATIONS IN THE PEER-REVIEWED, SCIENTIFIC LITERATURE. THE OUTDOOR, RESEARCH ARBORETA ARE FOCUSED ON EXAMINING THE SURVIVAL OF OAK SPECIES DRAWN FROM A RANGE OF CLIMATES, AS WELL AS PROVIDING A COMMON GARDEN OF SEVERAL SPECIES FOR GROWTH STUDIES.
