Part 3 - Line 1

TO PROVIDE A CONTINUUM OF MUSICAL TRAINING FOR YOUNG CHILDREN THROUGH SENIOR ADULTS, PRODUCE EXCEPTIONAL CHORAL PERFORMANCES AND PRESERVE THE ART OF CHORAL MUSIC FOR THE ENRICHMENT AND ENJOYMENT OF THE GREATER AKRON COMMUNITY.

Part 3 - Line 4a

THE CHILDREN'S CHOIR PROGRAM CONSISTS OF APPROXIMATELY 175 YOUTH PARTICIPANTS IN GRADES 1-12 AND EXISTS TO PROVIDE CLASSICAL VOCAL/CHORAL TRAINING TO THE COMMUNITY'S YOUTH, PERFORMING 10 TO 12 CONCERTS EACH YEAR.


THE METROPOLITAN CHORUS IS COMPRISED OF APPROXIMATELY 40 ADULT VOLUNTEER SINGERS. EACH SEASON THEY PERFORM 3 TO 5 CONCERTS.


THE CHORAL SCHOLARS PROGRAM PROVIDES COLLEGE STUDENTS WITH OPPORTUNITIES FOR UNIQUE CHORAL EXPERIENCES AND LEADERSHIP WHILE BUILDING THEIR RESUME AND RECEIVING A MONETARY SCHOLAR AWARD FOR THIS SERVICE.
