THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES SUPPORT AND ADVOCACY SERVICES TO PERSONS SUFFERING FROM SERIOUS MENTAL ILLNESS AND OTHER DISABLING CONDITIONS AND TO FAMILIES OF THOSE PERSONS, INCLUDING DEVELOPING SOCIALIZATION AND INDEPENDENCE SKILLS ON THE PART OF THE CLIENTS. SERVICES INCLUDE INDIVIDUAL, FAMILY AND GROUP WORK AS WELL AS FAMILY EDUCATION. ADDITIONALLY, THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES ALTERNATIVE HOUSING OPTIONS TO THOSE BENEFITING FROM AN ASSISTED LIVING ENVIRONMENT. THE ORGANIZATION WORKS WITH INDIVIDUALS TO IMPROVE PHYSICAL HEALTH, ELIMINATE UNHEALTHY HABITS, ENJOY SOCIAL ACTIVITIES AND DEVELOP EMPLOYMENT RELATED SKILLS.
