THE MISSION OF THE TOLEDO PUBLIC SCHOOLS FOUNDATION IS TO PROMOTE QUALITY PUBLIC EDUCATION THROUGH SUPPLEMENTAL FUNDING FOR PROGRAMS, SCHOLARSHIPS, AND ACADEMIC INITIATIVES.

THE ORGANIZATION SUPPORTS THE TOLEDO PUBLIC SCHOOLS' STUDENTS AND EDUCATORS. THEY AWARD SCHOLARSHIPS TO OUTSTANDING AND DESERVING STUDENTS WITHIN THE TOLEDO PUBLIC SCHOOLS' DISTRICT. THEY ALSO AWARD GRANTS TO TOLEDO PUBLIC SCHOOLS' TEACHERS FOR SPECIFIC PROGRAMS.FOR THE FISCAL YEAR THERE WERE SCHOLARSHIPS AWARDED TO 39 TOLEDO PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENTS REPRESENTING 9 HIGH SCHOOLS WITHIN THE DISTRICT. THERE WERE ALSO 17 CREATIVE IMPACT GRANTS AWARDED THAT ARE DESIGNED TO ENABLE TEACHERS TO BRING INNOVATIVE AND EXICTING IDEAS, TECHNIQUES AND RESOURCES INTO THE CLASSROOM. THE FOUNDATION'S BRIDGE FUND SUPPORTED STUDENTS BY: (1) BY SENDING STUDENTS TO THE CYBER SECURITY YOUTH CAMP; (2) WE ALSO SENT STUDENTS TO JUNIOR NATIONALS YOUNG LEADERS CONFERENCE; (3) ADDITONALLY WE SENT STUDENTS TO THE CADET AND JUNIOR NATIONAL CHAMPIONS WRESTLING TOURNAMENT.
