AULTMAN HEALTH FOUNDATION (AHF) WAS FORMED AS A SUPPORT ENTITY TO AULTMAN HOSPITAL (AH) AND AHF'S SUBSIDIARIES. THIS STRUCTURE IS COMMON TO MANY HEALTH CARE SYSTEMS. AHF PERFORMS ACTIVITIES THAT DIRECTLY AND INDIRECTLY IMPACT AH AND SUBSIDIARIES. THERE IS A CLOSE WORKING RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN AHF AND AH AND SUBSTANTIAL RESOURCES OF AHF ARE COMMITTED TO FURTHERING THE AH MISSION.
2023 WAS ANOTHER YEAR OF GROWTH FOR AULTMAN SERVICES ACROSS THE SYSTEM. THE DOVER HEALTH CENTER OF AULTMAN ORRVILLE HOSPITAL OPENED ITS DOORS IN FEBRUARY, OFFERING DOVER RESIDENTS A NEW PRIMARY CARE OPTION CLOSE TO HOME. THAT SAME MONTH, AULTMAN LAB SERVICES OPENED A DRAW STATION IN DOYLESTOWN. WITH AN ORDER FROM THEIR PROVIDER, LOCAL PATIENTS COULD NOW SIMPLY WALK IN FOR BLOODWORK. IN MARCH, AULTMAN MEDICAL GROUP WOMEN'S HEALTH SERVICES OPENED AN ADDITIONAL LOCATION IN MASSILLON, AGAIN PROVIDING MORE CONVENIENCE FOR COMMUNITY MEMBERS. IN JULY, THE AULTMAN SLEEP CENTER OPENED A NEW LOCATION IN DOVER, OFFERING COMMUNITY MEMBERS A CONVENIENT FULL-SERVICE SLEEP CENTER FOR SLEEP STUDIES AND CONTINUOUS POSITIVE AIRWAY PRESSURE (CPAP) TITRATIONS. IN MARCH, AULTMAN WOODLAWN RECEIVED APPROVAL TO INCREASE THE NUMBER OF PATIENT BEDS FOR INPATIENT REHABILITATION. THIS EXPANSION ALLOWED US TO PROVIDE SHORT-TERM REHABILITATION TO ADDITIONAL PATIENTS. AND WITH THE COMPASSIONATE CARE CENTER AND HOME HEALTHCARE (AULTMAN HEALTH CARE IN YOUR HOME) ALSO AVAILABLE ON CAMPUS, AULTMAN WOODLAWN IS ABLE TO PROVIDE MUCH NEEDED CARE AND SUPPORT TO EVEN MORE OF OUR FAMILIES, FRIENDS AND NEIGHBORS. AULTMAN BEGAN OFFERING INSPIRE SLEEP TECHNOLOGY TO TREAT OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA IN JUNE OF 2023. A GREAT SOLUTION TO HELP PATIENTS GET THE CONSISTENT QUALITY SLEEP THEY NEED, INSPIRE IS AN IMPLANTABLE DEVICE. IT IS RECOMMENDED FOR THOSE PATIENTS DIAGNOSED WITH OBSTRUCTIVE SLEEP APNEA WHO CANNOT TOLERATE A CPAP MACHINE. THE INSPIRE OPTION IS AVAILABLE AT AULTMAN HOSPITAL, AULTMAN ALLIANCE COMMUNITY HOSPITAL AND AULTMAN ORRVILLE HOSPITAL
WITH 120 EMPLOYEES, THE AULTMAN SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT PROVIDES THE TECHNICAL INFRASTRUCTURE FOR BUSINESS AND CLINICAL SYSTEMS THROUGHOUT AHF, ITS SATELLITE FACILITIES AND SUBSIDIARIES. THE SYSTEMS AND TECHNOLOGY TEAM HANDLES EVERYTHING RELATED TO INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY AT AULTMAN HEALTH FOUNDATION - INCLUDING HARDWARE, SOFTWARE DATA SECURITY AND INTERNAL CUSTOMER SUPPORT.
THE 29-MEMBER AULTMAN HEALTH FOUNDATION HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT PROVIDES SUPPORT SERVICES RELATIVE TO EMPLOYEE BENEFITS, COMPENSATION, EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT, EMPLOYEE RECRUITING, NEW-HIRE ORIENTATION, DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION, AND EMPLOYEE EVENTS ACROSS AHF FACILITIES.
