TRANSPORTATION SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE TO THOSE PERSONS 60 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER WHO ARE UNABLE TO PROVIDE THEIR OWN TRANSPORTATION OR ARRANGE FOR TRANSPORTATION TO BE PROVIDED BY FAMILY OR FRIENDS. TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED DAILY IN DELPHOS AND THE SURROUNDING AREA FOR ESSENTIAL APPOINTMENTS SUCH AS MEDICAL, DENTAL, BANKING, GROCERY SHOPPING, SENIOR CENTER, AND SOCIAL SERVICES AGENCIES. TRANSPORTATION IS PROVIDED TO LIMA, VAN WERT, AND OTTOVILLE FOR MEDICAL APPOINTMENTS.
OTHER SERVICES PROVIDED BY THE CENTER AND ITS STAFF INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO, HEALTH SCREENINGS, INFORMATIONAL LUNCHEONS, THE CAREGIVERS LIBRARY, SOCIALIZATION ACTIVITIES, EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT LOANS, AND INFORMATION AND REFERRAL.
