COMMUNITY IMPACT - INCOME. IN FISCAL YEAR 2021, UNITED WAY OF PORTAGE COUNTY , OHIO ALLOCATED $115,500 TO TO SUPPORT INCOME IN PORTAGE COUNTY. THERE WERE 13 PROGRAMS SELECTED TO PROVIDE THE SERVICES. THE 13 PROGRAMS ALL SERVE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES AND INCLUDE: EMERGENCY HOUSING AND FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE, MEAL AND HOME HELP SERVICES FOR THE ELDERLY, CLOTHING ASSISTANCE, CREDIT COUNSELING, EARLY CHILDHOOD LEARNING ASSISTANCE, AND EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE.
COMMUNITY IMPACT - HEALTH. IN FISCAL YEAR 2021, UNITED WAY OF PORTAGE COUNTY , OHIO ALLOCATED $88,500 TO SUPPORT HEALTH IN PORTAGE COUNTY. THERE WERE 15 PROGRAMS SELECTED TO PROVIDE THESE SERVICES. THE 16 PROGRAMS ALL SERVE FAMILIES, SENIOR CITIZENS, CHILDREN AND VETERANS. THESE PROGRAMS INCLUDE: MEDICATION AND PSYCHIATRY ASSISTANCE, ADDICTION TREATMENT, ADULT DAY SERVICES, CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE INTERVENTION, COUNSELING SERVICES, CLINIC SERVICES AND MEAL DELIVERY TO ELDERLY COMMUNITY CENTERS.
COMMUNITY IMPACT - EDUCATION. IN FISCAL YEAR 2021, UNITED WAY OF PORTAGE COUNTY , OHIO ALLOCATED $57,000 TO SUPPORT EDUCATION IN PORTAGE COUNTY. THERE WERE 4 PROGRAMS SELECTED TO PROVIDE THE SERVICES.
