THE METHODIST FOUNDATION OF OHIO SUPPORTS THE EAST OHO ANNUAL CONFERENCE, ITS CHURCHES AND MISSIONS IN A NUMBER OF WAYS. OUR SUPPORT OF YOUNG CLERGY IN THE CONFERENCE INCLUDES OUR FIREBRAND SCHOLARSHIP, WHICH NOT ONLY PAYS FULL TUITION FOR THE FUTURE PASTOR, BUT ALSO RETIRES UNDERGRADUATE DEBT. OUR YOUNG CLERGY TRAINING EVENTS BRING TOP-LEVEL PROFESSIONAL EDUCATION DURING A CRITICAL TIME IN CAREERS OF PASTORS AGE 35 OR YOUNGER. THE FOUNDATION ALSO SUPPORTS FEEDING / HUNGER PROGRAMS, UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIPS TO UNITED METHODIST STUDENTS AND OTHER MISSION PROJECTS TO STRENGTHEN LOCAL CHURCHES REACH TO THEIR COMMUNITIES.
