TO PROVIDE A POST FOR PAST/PRESENT MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE POST IS INVOLVED IN A VARIETY OF BOTH VETERAN AND CIVIC ACTIVITIES INCLUDING THE DECORATING OF CEMETERIES, SPONSORING COMMUNITY PARADES AND SUPORT OF LOCAL YOUTH ACTIVITIES.

PROVIDED A POST FOR PAST AND PRESENT MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES OF THE UNITED STATES AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE POST CONTINUED TO BE INVOLVED IN A VARIETY OF BOTH VETERAN AND CIVIC ACTIVITIES INCLUDING DECORATING OF CEMETERIES, SPONSORING COMMUNITY PARADES, CONTRIBUTIONS TO VARIOUS VETERAN ORGANIZATIONS, SPONSORSHIP OF LOCAL EDUCATIONAL AND ATHLETIC ACTIVITIES OF LEETONIA SCHOOL DISTRICT, CIVIC ACTIVITIES BENEFITTING BOTH VETERANS AND NON-VETERANS SUCH AS CHRISTMAS BASKETS FOR THE NEEDY AND ASSISTING THE LEETONIA FIRE DEPARTMENT IN THE PURCHASE OF FIRE AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT. ADDITIONALLY, THE POST PROVIDES SOCIAL AND RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES TO ITS MEMBERS AND THEIR GUESTS. IN ALL OF THE ABOVE, THE AMERICAN LEGION PROMOTES THE COMMON GOOD AND GENERAL WELFARE OF THE ENTIRE COMMUNITY.
